Tip Of Cape

Choose your FISHING spot, on our beach, deep sea fishing, the St. JOSEPH BAY, with, or without a guide, river fishing, lake fishing, scalloping in the Bay, blue crab fishing in the creeks or along the shoreline. Bring or buy a fishing throw net and catch your live shrimp for bait or a meal. I personally have caught eight different species of fish, on the shore in front of 2 and 3 PALMS. Water sports abound. Kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, Boat Rentals at St. Joe‘s Harbor (sailboat or motorboat)Port St. Joe Marina. Surf the waters of Cape San Blas, there are surf boards, boogie boards, or just go the old-fashion way, body surfing.

Visit St Joe State Park . for a nature hike or rent a bike and go out to the tip of the park that is only accessible by foot or boat. Visit historic Apalachicola, with its fine restaurants, antiques, shopping and bed and breakfasts, sample some of their world-renowned Oysters. Speaking of oysters, within 1 mile of both 2 and 3 PALMS is the world famous Indian Pass Raw Bar featured in the New York Times. This 70 year old institution is renowned for its fresh sweet oysters, shrimp, giant crab legs, and jambalaya.

Walk the beaches, and some days never see another human being. Watch the Dolphins joyfully plane in the surf, the pelicans diving for shrimp, the eagles flying above, and a potpourri of wildlife that makes this area a truly magnificent and naturally preserved Sanctuary, second to none.
