Forget Destin and Pensacola, with their huge obtrusive condos and city-like traffic jams, where it can take 20 minutes to go a couple of blocks: here, traffic jams consist of dolphins, birds, and stars. The building codes will not permit any structure above three stories and your only stress will be choosing the activity of the day from the endless choices available.
Our small community boasts miles and miles of white sand beaches. Whether it’s hours of quiet solitude or activities in the great outdoors that you crave, we have a little something for everyone. The Forgotten Coast truly is the place where every day feels like the weekend. Your most prized memories are here waiting to be made.
Choose your fishing spot on our beach, or go deep sea fishing in the St. Joseph Bay, and (with a guide if you want one) river fishing, lake fishing, scalloping in the bay, or blue crab fishing in the creeks along the shoreline. Bring or buy a fishing throw net and catch your live shrimp for bait or a meal. I personally have caught eight different species of fish from the shore in front of 2 and 3 Palms.
Water sports abound! Kayaking (2 Available at Two Palms) snorkeling, scuba diving, Boat Rentals at Port St. Joe Marina (sailboat or motorboat). Surf the waters of Cape San Blas! There are surf boards, boogie boards, paddle boards or just go the old-fashioned way with body surfing. Enjoy golfing, biking trails, horseback riding on the beach, eco-tours, bird watching, collecting sea shells, taking a hot air balloon ride in Apalachicola, or visit the cute shop and stores in the area.
Visit St Joe Peninsula State Park for a nature hike or rent a bike and go out to the tip of the park that is only accessible by foot or boat. Visit historic Apalachicola, with its fine restaurants, antiques, shopping and bed and breakfasts, sample some of their world-renowned Oysters.
Speaking of oysters, within one mile of both 2 and 3 Palms is the world-famous Indian Pass Raw Bar featured in the New York Times. This 70-year-old institution is renowned for its fresh sweet oysters, shrimp, giant crab legs, and jambalaya. Many nights at the Raw Bar folks just hang out in the parking lot enjoying their favorite beverage and impromptu music.
Walk the beaches, and some days never see another human being. Watch the Dolphins joyfully plane in the surf, the pelicans diving for shrimp, the eagles flying above, and a potpourri of wildlife that makes this area a truly magnificent and naturally preserved Sanctuary, second to none. Speaking of second to none, wait until you see the sunsets. This is truly a family place where folks can Reconnect and bond with each other for lifelong memories.

Two Palms Reviews
The beach was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! Over the course of the week we saw more dolphins than we’ve seen in all of our beach vacations combined. One day there was a pod of nearly 30 swimming up and down the shore line. Having a private boardwalk to the beach was great–and the beach itself was not crowded at all. It felt like we had it all to ourselves! Read the full review…
We just returned from a blissful week at Two Palms, and hopefully we will return one day! My husband and I are insanely busy professionals, and unfortunately, are not able to “part the seas” at our respective jobs very often to get away. When we do, it is critical that the vacation go flawlessly, and I am happy to tell you that the week at Two Palms exceeded our expectations! Read the full review…
Great for families, including the 4 legged ones. This was a great house for lots of people, and different ages. There was room to spread out on both floors, on the decks or in your bedroom. When we wanted to be all together the main floor was great. The kitchen accommodated several cooks. Eating space at the counter was a plus as well as a powder room off the kitchen. The extra refrigerator down stairs was invaluable. This pool was just right for cooling off and playing around. The decks, with a gate was a great place for the dogs to dry off before coming back inside. They loved it too. Donna, the manager, was awesome in terms of attention/service. Donna went way above and beyond the call of duty. Read the full review…
